尼泊爾慈悲戒毒所/康復中心 Metta Rehab Centre

社會上少了一個因毒癮和酗酒的人，就多增加一個能安定過生活的人

康復中心的成立是為了協助那些來自於貧窮家庭，卻又染上毒癮和酗酒的人，給予他們改過自新然後重新出發的機會。

康復中心同時也為那些沒有能力支付費用的人提供免費治療，三年多來已經有七百多位成功治療。

除了為成員治療之外，還為他們尋求日後工作機會，以便治療結束之後，有謀生能力可以養活自己或是家庭，穩定的工作對成員而言非常重要。

目前中心收留了大約70名成員，每月開銷急需廣大社會群眾伸出援手協助，康復中心對成員的協助沒有終點，必須靠廣大群眾的參與與關懷，一起幫助社會上需要幫助的人。

In society, if there is one less person who suffers from drug addiction and alcoholism, there is one more person that can live a normal and stable life. The Metta Rehabilitation Centre was established to assist people from poor families that are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction to overcome addictions and to start a fresh leaf in life’s journey. The rehabilitation centre provides free treatment to those unable to afford the fees. To date, there are more than 700 successful treatments over a span of three years.

In addition to providing treatment, the centre also assists the patients to seek future employment opportunities so that they can be self-sufficient and earn a living to support themselves and their families when the treatment is successful. Having a stable job is very important for patience that has successfully overcome their addictions.

At present, the centre has around 70 patients. The centre is currently in urgent need for funds from the general public to support its monthly expenses. The rehabilitation centre is an on-going service and has no end to the assistance it can provide to patients and it must rely on the participation and care of the masses to help those that are in need in our society.
