Nepal Metta Dickey Tsering Child Home 尼泊爾慈悲快樂兒童之家在2017年3月成立，緣於2015年大地震後設立尼泊爾慈悲緣免費素食分發餐點的因緣。

在分發素食餐點同時發現很多小孩在街邊流浪，他們沒有上學，有些甚至抱著更小的弟弟妹妹在乞食，基於此因緣，啟發了我們收養街童的想法，在湛日法師及索南格西的努力之下，才有如今的慈悲快樂兒童之家。

由成立初期的20名小朋友，至今已收養了62名孩童，院童年齡介於4歲～15歲之間。兒童之家除了照顧小孩生活起居，給小孩一個安定的家，不再讓他們流浪街頭以乞食為主，也讓他們去學校上課，讓他們感受到社會大家庭的溫暖，能夠身心健全的成長求學。

慈悲兒童之家每人每月開支約60美金，急需社會大眾呼哧善款，齊心努力為貧苦兒童盡一份心力，院童需要您的關愛雙手拉他們一把，您的協助會開啟院童新的生命火花。

Nepal Metta Dickey Tsering Child Home was established in March 2017 and aspiration since the establishment of the Nepal Metta Vegan Free Meal Canteen after the earthquake in Nepal in 2015. Whilst distributing vegetarian meals after the earthquake, it was observed that there were many children wandering in the streets. The children did not go to school and some were even carrying their own younger brother or sisters whilst queuing for food. Based on this, they inspired the idea of adopting street children.

Under the efforts of Venerable Zhan Ri and Geshe Sonam, a home has been setup to adopt and care for the children. Since its establishment, the number of adopted children has grown from 20 to 62 at present. The children are between the ages of 4 and 15 years old. Besides taking care of the children’s daily livelihood, the children’s home provides a stable family home for the children. They no longer need to wander in the streets for food to sustain their livelihood and now they can focus on attending school and more importantly feel the warmth and love from the extended family to grow up healthily in both physically and mentally.

The cost to support one child is USD$60 per month. Currently, the children’s home is in need for urgent support from the public to contribute funds to support its children. The children needs both your helping hands to support them, your assistance will provide hope and much needed zest in their young lives.
